Join FOX News Media’s dynamic Social Media Marketing and Monetization Team! As a Social Media Producer you will be part of a team responsible for creating digital-first, innovative social media content for multiple platforms. You will play a key role in our social media content strategy to drive revenue, engagement, and brand awareness. You will manage a small team of content creators, providing guidance and support to foster professional development, enhance creative output, and ensure alignment with strategic goals.
A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:
Plan, produce, edit and publish high-quality content across social platforms including, but not limited to, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, X, YouTube Shorts and Threads
Oversee a small content creation team while in office and in the field producing and publishing real-time content for events
Manage the content calendar to ensure timely delivery of content and maintain a consistent publishing schedule
Write compelling scripts and concise copy that resonate with the target audience
Communicate with internal stakeholders to ensure that content aligns with overall brand messaging and marketing campaigns
Be at the forefront of the latest social media trends, tools and best practices to ensure that content stays innovative and relevant
Maintain a consistent brand image and voice across all social media platforms
Collaborate on innovative video projects and brainstorm ideas to bring in new audiences for Fox's digital platforms
Use analytics and social media insights to monitor the performance of content and make data-driven optimizations
Travel to shoots, sometimes on short notice
WHAT YOU WILL NEED:
4-7 years experience as a social media producer AND editor in a fast-paced, media or corporate environment
Experience managing a team of social media content creators
Strong editorial judgment and a commitment to accuracy
Strong understanding of all social media platforms and best practices
Excellent storytelling skills, with the ability to create compelling and shareable content
Demonstrated expertise in using Adobe Premiere and Photoshop for creating high-quality vertical video and graphic templates
Proficient in using social media management/in-app editing tools and analytics platforms
Strong attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently as well as collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
Passion for social media, digital marketing and emerging trends in the digital landscape
Confident in working with on-air talent
Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills and be able to implement effective solutions to drive project success and improve operational efficiencies
Flexibility in schedule to work holidays and weekends when necessary, and to shift your schedule as news, events and projects warrant
Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, journalism, or a related field

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay rate/range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is $60,000.00-70,000.00 annually. This role is also eligible for various benefits, including medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents. Benefits for Union represented employees will be in accordance with the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
