We are looking for a dynamic and motivated Booking Producer to join One Nation w/ Brian Kilmeade. The Booking Producer is a creative storyteller with sound editorial skills and in-depth knowledge of the news. You are confident in securing interviews with notable figures including politicians, newsmakers, and celebrities. The Booking Producer has excellent interpersonal skills and understands the importance of building and maintaining relationships with potential guests. You understand the level of commitment required to work at the #1 cable news channel.
A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
Conduct in-depth research and pre-interviews on a wide range of topics
Write segment intros and coordinate the production of all relevant sound, video, and graphics
Identify strong guests, cultivate relationships, and confirm bookings for the show
Locate contacts for difficult-to-find people using social media and other tools
Pitch unique stories and guests of interest
WHAT YOU WILL NEED
Bachelor’s degree in journalism or related field of study preferred, or equivalent experience
Strong knowledge of news, politics, and current events
Excellent writing skills and editorial judgment
Familiarity with popular influencers, commentators, and opinion-makers
Demonstrated ability to establish/build positive relationships with guests and high-profile newsmakers and the ability to maintain those connections even when bookings are canceled or rescheduled
Multitask in a high-pressure environment while prioritizing assignments and meeting deadlines
Flexibility to work unconventional hours in a 24-hour news environment such as weekends, overnights, or holidays

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay rate/range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is $67,000.00-93,000.00 annually. This role is also eligible for various benefits, including medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents. Benefits for Union represented employees will be in accordance with the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
