ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking a highly analytical and strategic Senior Manager, Business Planning to join our DTC team in building FOX’s new stand-alone general entertainment streaming service, launching in late 2025. In this role, you will play a key part in supporting distribution strategy, third-party partnerships, and subscriber growth initiatives that are critical to the launch and long-term success of the platform. You will collaborate cross-functionally across Strategy, Analytics, and Research, applying deep financial and operational analysis to inform business decisions in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead financial and strategic due diligence on distribution partnerships and third-party content deals supporting the new FOX streaming service.
Develop business cases and detailed financial models to assess rights costs, margins, and subscriber growth potential.
Drive strategic initiatives focused on subscriber acquisition, retention, and engagement in the pre- and post-launch phases.
Partner with internal Analytics teams to extract, manipulate, and model data using Tableau, Power BI, and SQL.
Liaise with cross-functional teams other business units on DTC specific inputs/assumptions for forecast deliverables and long range planning/analysis.
Integrate third-party research (e.g., Nielsen metrics) into strategic planning and forecasting models.
Prepare and present strategic recommendations to senior leadership based on quantitative insights and market research.
Stay informed on industry trends, competitive landscape, and DTC market dynamics to guide business planning.
WHAT YOU WILL NEED
Experience in business planning, strategic finance, or strategy consulting, preferably within the media, sports, or technology sectors.
Strong understanding of key subscription performance drivers, including funnel conversion, subscriber acquisition, churn, and customer lifetime value
Deep financial modeling expertise, especially related to content rights, distribution economics, and subscriber forecasting.
Strong analytical and data visualization skills, including experience with Tableau and/or Power BI.
Experience utilizing third-party audience measurement tools (e.g., Nielsen) in decision making.
Excellent communication skills, including experience developing and delivering executive-level presentations
Highly collaborative, team-oriented approach with the ability to work cross-functionally
Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize, manage timelines, and work under pressure
Self-starter mindset with a strong sense of ownership and follow-through
Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
NICE TO HAVE, BUT NOT A DEALBREAKER
Experience launching or scaling a direct-to-consumer streaming service.

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay rate/range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is $143,000.00-165,000.00 annually. This role is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, various benefits, including medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents. Benefits for Union represented employees will be in accordance with the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
