FOX News Media is seeking an experienced Executive Producer to lead "America Reports", a two hour-long daytime program. The Executive Producer will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of content creation, working closely with hosts, the show team, and management to ensure a successful broadcast.
A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
Serve as the editorial leader from initial story development through live control room broadcast
Collaborate directly with hosts and production staff to develop show content
Identify and secure guests to join the show
Drive talent development initiatives, mentoring staff and monitoring their growth
Copy edit scripts throughout the live broadcast to maintain quality and accuracy
Coordinate breaking news coverage live from the control room
Conduct annual performance reviews to assess and improve team performance
Manage staff schedules and backup roles to ensure seamless operations
WHAT YOU WILL NEED
Bachelor’s degree in journalism or related field of study preferred, or equivalent experience
10+ years of experience producing news at a local TV station or network
3+ years of experience as a Senior Producer in a professional live news environment
Strong talent development skills with a proven track record of mentoring and leadership
Ability to make quick, informed decisions in high-pressure situations
Strong technical skills and strategic thinking capabilities
Proficiency in executing live segments, including breaking news coverage
Flexibility to work various hours and days as required by breaking news events
Willingness to travel with anchors for on-location shows when necessary
Expertise in copyediting scripts for broadcast
Ability to manage daily script and segment deadlines effectively
Exceptional editorial skills with a broad knowledge of current events, politics, and pop culture
Strong team player with excellent communication and collaboration skills

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay rate/range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is $160,000.00-195,000.00 annually. This role is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, various benefits, including medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents. Benefits for Union represented employees will be in accordance with the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
