ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for a strategic and relationship-driven individual to join our team as a Director, Business Development and Partnerships supporting FOX’s Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) segment. This role will focus on developing new business relationships with device partners, content providers, and other high-impact growth channels. In addition to identifying and securing new opportunities, the role will manage ongoing partnerships to unlock new growth potential, while working cross-functionally with marketing and product teams to deliver effective growth and retention programs. This is a key role in accelerating the growth and impact of FOX’s DTC products and services.
A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
Identify, pitch, and close new partnership opportunities with a wide range of partners—including OEMs, telcos, and content providers
Own and manage key partner relationships, serving as a primary point of contact and advocate throughout the partnership lifecycle
Leverage your knowledge of industry verticals and relationships with key players to support adoption of new platforms and services
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (marketing, product, analytics) to launch and optimize growth and retention initiatives across partner channels
Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify new business opportunities and inform partner strategy
Monitor partner performance and surface insights to inform strategic decisions and new initiatives
Negotiate partnership terms and manage execution timelines to ensure program success
Stay informed on industry trends, competitive landscape, and partnership innovations to influence strategy
WHAT YOU WILL NEED
Passion for digital media and a deep interest in the evolving media landscape
Familiarity with media business models, particularly subscription-based models
Strong understanding of key subscription performance drivers, including funnel conversion, subscriber acquisition, churn, and customer lifetime value
Superior analytical skills, including financial modeling and business case development
Strategic thinker with a demonstrated ability to tackle complex business problems
Excellent communication skills, including experience developing and delivering executive-level presentations
Proficient in creating management presentations that communicate insights clearly and effectively
Highly collaborative, team-oriented approach with the ability to work cross-functionally
Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize, manage timelines, and work under pressure
Self-starter mindset with a strong sense of ownership and follow-through
Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

Experience in media strategic planning or finance
Prior experience doing business in international markets

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay rate/range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is $143,000.00-200,000.00 annually. This role is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, various benefits, including medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents. Benefits for Union represented employees will be in accordance with the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
