We’re hiring an Executive Director, Streaming to oversee the execution of streaming content strategies at FTS owned-and-operated stations across the country. In this role, you will guide and support streaming leaders at each local station who are charged with creating an engaging and innovative experience for viewers to consume on our digital platforms - especially through FAST and CTV. This position is based in our Orlando, Florida newsroom.
Big picture view
Reporting to the VP Digital Content, the Executive Director, Streaming will help shape the future of local streaming news experiences on platforms including the FOX Local app, FAST channels and other digital platforms. You will be the primary contact and go-to partner for station streaming leaders in every FTS market who are laser-focused on reaching and informing viewers in real-time.

Responsibilities
Develop, implement and evolve local streaming content strategies for FTS stations, with a heavy emphasis on live content. Support and empower streaming leaders in each market, equipping them with the knowledge, tools and workflows they need to succeed. Clearly communicate standard operating procedures and best practices for live and VOD content. Always be the voice of viewers, constantly reminding teams in every market to be obsessed with helping them find what they’re looking for now. Coordinate content planning process for streaming platforms, facilitating seamless sharing and collaboration for the group on major live events and stories. Provide immediate support and real-time guidance to stations in times of major breaking news or other critical times. Coordinate information and manage communication about potential content marketing opportunities with partners before relevant live events take place. Monitor and analyze performance data, communicating wins and opportunities as they arise. Cultivate strong relationships with key players at stations, across FOX and with external partners. Work in lock step with tech and engineering leaders to ensure tools and workflows support content teams’ needs. Assist stations with hiring, onboarding and training of streaming teams as needed. Stay on top of industry developments and trends. Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Experience leading successful streaming content teams, with an emphasis on live. Demonstrated ability to create, execute and evolve streaming content strategies for both live and on-demand content, including but not limited to news. Track record of motivating and inspiring teams through change. Relentless passion for understanding and engaging viewers. Outstanding leadership, communication and presentation skills. Overwhelming attention to detail. Master of process with top-notch organizational skills. Strong relationship builder. Positive, outgoing attitude and a start-up spirit of innovation. Thrive in a fast-paced environment under deadline pressure. Strong knowledge of the technical aspects of streaming production equipment and workflows are a plus. Varied hours including weekends and holidays as required. Will consider work from another FTS O&O market.

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay rate/range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is $175,000.00-200,000.00 annually. This role is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, various benefits, including medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents. Benefits for Union represented employees will be in accordance with the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
