FOX 13, Tampa Bay’s leading news station, is on the hunt for a passionate, dynamic, and experienced Multimedia Journalist with a strong emphasis on sports! If you thrive on covering everything from NASCAR and Grand Prix to the NFL, UFL, MLB, and NHL, and love digging into the stories beyond the scoreboard, this is your chance to shine. Some days you may pivot to general market reporting too.
Deliver compelling, well-researched sports and general market stories—both on-air and behind the scenes. Shoot, write, and edit top-notch multimedia content with an eye for storytelling across all platforms.
Own the digital space with engaging social media coverage and web content.
Stay ahead of the game—literally—by covering breaking sports news, feature stories, and in-depth reports.
Bachelor’s degree with an emphasis on journalism or comparable experience and linear or digital reporting.

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay rate/range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is $70,000.00-78,500.00 annually for high cost labour markets such as but not limited to New York City and Los Angeles, $58,300.00-65,400.00 annually for all other US locations. This role is also eligible for various benefits, including medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents. Benefits for Union represented employees will be in accordance with the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
