JOB DESCRIPTION

We have a great opportunity for a Vice President of Commerce!!! The Vice  President of Commerce will lead the Strategic Initiatives team and will drive new revenue streams primarily via content on FoxNews.com. Responsibilities of the Vice President of Commerce will include driving revenue from both internal and external sources, but also setting the overall strategy and priorities for the group.

You will report to the SVP of Business Development.

A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead commerce publishing group as a subject matter expert for Fox

• Operationalize new commerce initiatives and verticals

• Developing commerce strategy and leading execution it in order to aggressively grow revenue and meet ambitious targets

• Work across various teams ( product/engineering, editorial, marketing, finance) to bring new opportunities to fruition and take advantage of internal resources to push the commerce initiative forward

• Evaluate new commerce initiatives (proactive and reactive) for business opportunity and feasibility

• Working with external partners to power new commerce revenue streams

• Connecting commerce data to content insights, creating best practices to drive higher revenue via content creation

• Ensuring commerce execution is in-line with the Fox Standards and Practices, including user expectations and perception of the brand

WHAT YOU WILL NEED

• 15+ years relevant work experience in publisher commerce

• Passion and expertise in commerce required (including past experience with publisher commerce)

• Previous experience overseeing a team

• Strong entrepreneurial spirit and business savvy

• Ability to execute and grow a new business

• Sound business acumen and ability to interpret data

• Strong communication and collaboration skills with internal and external stakeholder groups

• Ability to think creatively and try new things (and to quickly gauge success or failure)

• Ability to multi-task proficiency, bringing multiple complex projects to fruition simultaneously

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is: $222,500.00-280,000.00 annually for New York City and Westchester County, NY. This role is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, various benefits, including medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents. Benefits for Union represented employees will be in accordance with the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
