JOB DESCRIPTION

We have a great opportunity for a Procurement Specialist!!!  In this new and exciting role, the Procurement Specialist will support the Procurement department in day-to-day sourcing activities including RFP processes and other savings initiatives.  

This role is based in Los Angeles – Selected candidate must be willing to work onsite in our Los Angeles office a minimum of 3 days/week.

A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

• Process facilities-based purchase requests by reviewing quotes and/or obtaining competitive bids
• Liaison between vendors and Fox Business Units for new accounts set-ups, customer service issues, rate discussions, credit authorizations, contract renewals, and invoice payments
• Liaison between vendors and Fox Legal to process various legal documents
• RFP Processes – Review vendor quotes and proposals, organize relevant information/pricing in Excel for bid-leveling purposes, call vendor references and assist in RFP analysis.
• Research qualified vendors/contractors for purchase requests or RFPs 
• Coupa Administrative Tasks – Process requisitions, review Purchase Order queue and issue POs to vendors as needed, employee training, distribute invoice status updates, reactivate vendors in system, provide supplier information to vendors and Fox business units, and onboard new suppliers
• General Administrative Tasks – Schedule meetings, attend meetings, Excel analysis, ad hoc reporting as needed
   

WHAT YOU WILL NEED

• 2 to 3 years of sourcing/purchasing experience, preferably with a background in Facilities-based Procurement
• Proficient in MS Outlook and Excel
• Must be detail oriented
• Strong written and communications skills
• Excellent analytical skills
• Ability to solve problems
• Strong client services skills

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is: $26.50-31.25 per hour for California. This role is also eligible for various benefits, including medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents. Benefits for Union represented employees will be in accordance with the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
