JOB DESCRIPTION

MarVista, a Fox Entertainment Company, is looking for a Freelance Residuals Specialist with solid analytical and organizational skills. The Freelance Residuals Specialist will assist with Residuals and Participation reporting and will work closely with the Production, Business Affairs, and Accounting departments on various projects. It is important that the candidate can communicate effectively at all levels within the company. The Freelance Residuals Specialist will assist with various types of reporting and maintenance of corresponding files and documentation including the gathering and maintaining of supporting documentation, accounting records, and conducting various analyses, as required.

A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

Review Residual setup tracker for inception to date (ITD) gross receipts reports needed and prepare reports
Review Assumptions for completeness on participation titles
Maintain residual reporting tracker: record invoice data, identify titles requiring investigation, and perform initial research
Prep AP upload file for quarterly residual invoices
Download, organize, and save files in corresponding Residual folders
Ensure all participation titles have an Anaplan add-in
Perform initial Anaplan tie out for Go Forward participation statements
Disseminate approved statements; save and update Participation folders
Review Coupa for suppliers to be invited onto the Accounts Payable portal
Ad-hoc projects as needed

WHAT YOU WILL NEED

Excellent analytical and organization skills with attention to detail
Strong oral and written communication skills
Ability to work independently
Ability to plan and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, and particularly Excel)
Experience with Rightsline, Anaplan, and Workday

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is: $25.00-25.00 per hour. We provide Freelancers medical/dental/vision insurance and 401k after they meet eligibility criteria and any State required time-off, in accordance with applicable plan documents. Benefits for Union represented employees will be in accordance with the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
