We are looking for a proactive and highly organized individual to provide support to senior level talent. We will rely on you to be a team player that can work independently, take initiative, and exercise sound judgment. Sensitivity to confidential matters is critical to this role. In addition to managing all administrative tasks, you will interact with a diverse group of both internal and external stakeholders at all levels within and out of the organization.

A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage an extremely active calendar of appointments, screen incoming calls, handle financial information, and process expense reports

  • Research, prioritize, and follow up on incoming issues and concerns addressed to the senior level executive, including those of a sensitive or confidential nature

  • Prioritize conflicting needs; you will handle matters expeditiously, proactively, and follow-through on projects to successful completion

  • Prepare and/or review confidential memos, correspondence, business updates, meeting notes, PowerPoint presentations, and complex reports

  • Manage all aspects of business travel and travel agendas

  • Organize and execute various team events

WHAT YOU WILL NEED

  • A bachelor’s degree and or relevant work experience

  • 5 years of administrative or executive assistant experience or relevant work experience in the news, TV, or communications industry

  • Highly organized and detail-oriented nature

  • Strong written and communication skills

  • Superior time management with the ability to prioritize large workloads

  • Flexibility - the ability to work a flexible schedule and take direction with ease

  • Critical thinking skills

  • A high degree of confidentiality and professionalism

  • Ability to handle/balance multiple projects with a calm, professional, and positive attitude

  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is: $19.48-26.21 per hour for New York City and Westchester County, NY. This role is also eligible for various benefits, including medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents. Benefits for Union represented employees will be in accordance with the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
