The Fox News team is looking for a skilled and innovative Director of Acquisition with strong leadership skills to join our rapidly growing team. As Director of Acquisition, reporting to the Vice President of Design and Product, you will help shape and execute the acquisition product roadmap for D2C products (Fox Nation) and define and prioritize features. You will build, execute, and own the entire process and delivery of our user acquisition and churn prevention initiatives in close partnership with engineering, marketing, design, as well as other product managers to contribute to the overall business objectives of the organization.


  • Develop and own the vision and roadmap for all acquisition and churn prevention products, keeping your colleagues up to date on your top-level goals, timelines, and progress
  • Have a deep understanding and experience with funnel optimization
  • Use data to monitor changes in user behavior, including A/B testing
  • Work across internal marketing teams and platform partners to gather requirements to feed into the overall roadmap
  • Partner with engineering managers for sprint planning and manage expectations with other stakeholders (internal and external)
  • Manage Backlog and own Sprint process - from planning to release - including regression, retro, and stand-up
  • Partner with the Tech Manager and Project Manager to lead the team and QA resources, managing stakeholders (internal and external) and providing daily guidance to developers
  • Prioritize requests and ideas, and ship experiments in partnership with our growth and data science team to test bold product hypotheses designed to improve our ability to get subscribers and mitigate churn across platforms
  • Deeply understand the technology behind our acquisition funnels across platforms and become an expert in what technology and approaches are used in the market


  • Extensive experience working on video streaming apps and a strong understanding of industry best practices
  • Experience in product management
  • Experience working with Agile - requirement definition, ticket creation, sprint management, and other rituals
  • An analytical product management POV, but keen on developing human-centered experiences and have strong product instincts
  • Ability to inspire, motivate and lead
  • Ability to communicate well, in both small and large groups
  • Comfortable with giving and receiving candid feedback
  • Comfortable with working with multiple partners and teams: Design, Analytics, SEO, and Marketing to define features
