The Big Ten Network is looking for a Freelance Copy Administrator to help the team. You will be responsible for securing and inputting advertising copy instructions for all television advertising campaigns. The position will complete daily verification tasks, such as: pulling instruction confirmations, confirming ingest at master control, and communicating last-minute copy changes. Internally, the position will work closely with Traffic, Account Executives in Sales, Pricing, and Planning, and report to the Supervisor of Traffic and Copy. Externally, the position will interface with sales clients and advertising agencies.
A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
Secure advertising copy (commercials) from the network’s local/national advertising clients and agencies
Input and maintain traffic instructions
Complete daily verification tasks
Ensure that correct copy is scheduled and aired during network programming and in accordance with client/agency instructions
Work closely with network sales team to ensure that correct copy is secured
Send out daily report(s) identifying missing copy and/or instructions
WHAT YOU WILL NEED
1+ years of experience in network copy administration, traffic, or sales planning
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Excel
Outstanding attention to detail
Effective communication skills
NICE TO HAVE, BUT NOT A DEAL BREAKER
Experience with Wide Orbit and electronic ad delivery systems (i.e. Yangeroo, Comcast Ad Delivery, etc.)
