FOX News Digital seeks a Manager, Digital Operations, to join our team. You have an excellent track record in operations, finance, business development, consulting, and/or successful editorial content delivery at a large scale organization. You have experience in creating and/or maintaining systems & processes to streamline workflows and create efficiencies for fast-paced teams. You are able to translate direction and goals into results that can be used to make FOX News Digital stronger and help deliver an even better product for our audience.
In this role, you will be part of an Operations team, reporting to the Senior Manager, Digital Operations, work closely with the Managing Editor & Head of Strategy, and support other Managing Editors, members of their teams, as well as other key partners and stakeholders across FOX News Media. You will also have exposure to Digital’s Editor in Chief.
A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
Ensure the smooth, efficient, and results-oriented operation of the Digital enterprise
Work with Senior Manager to streamline workflows and provide efficiencies to teams; priorities areas include hiring, third party partnership engagements, and working closely with Business Intelligence
Manage the relationship with important third-party software/service providers to Digital
Work closely with the Senior Manager, Digital Operations, to drive organizational priorities and initiatives
In coordination with the Senior Manager, Operations, support the Managing Editor & Head of Strategy on operational projects and opportunities for growth of the Digital business, including strategic initiatives
Provide the Managing Editor & Head of Strategy and Senior Manager, Operations, with ongoing strategic and tactical support on matters of highest importance and time sensitivity
Perform research, analyze data, develop key insights, and build presentations for the leadership team to help inform strategic decisions across FoxNews.com & FoxBusiness.com
Manage operational duties for the department such as hiring and job postings (in close coordination with Human Resources), organizational updates, budget presentations and management, and serve as a POC for Digital vendors and their various contracts
Engage with the Product team on ideation & requirements gathering for FOX News Digital products (web/app/OTT of FoxNews.com & FoxBusiness.com)
Collaborate with additional internal partners such as Business Intelligence and Finance
Create and maintain best practices for the Digital team
Other projects and duties related to operations or strategic initiatives as assigned
WHAT YOU WILL NEED
Minimum 5 years of experience in operations, finance, business development, consulting, and/or successful editorial content delivery at a large scale organization
Excellent track record of achieving results in a fast-paced work environment
On-call mentality to work in a demanding and dynamic industry
Ability to collaborate effectively at strategic and tactical levels with a wide range of stakeholders of varying seniority
Exceptional organizational skills, multitasking capabilities & attention to detail; able to effectively prioritize workload in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Interpersonal skills and a collaborative, team-oriented approach are a must
Excellent presentation skills
Excellent Excel and PowerPoint skills
