JOB DESCRIPTION

Executive Protection Specialist sought by Fox Corporation in Los Angeles, California.

Duties:

Manage at-risk personnel by virtue of pro-active control and response mechanisms such as: surveillance, verification, supervision, control and containment of incidents including medical emergencies; compile own risk incident reports, and also assist to review others for accuracy to ensure that all incident reports are completed and filed into the risk register; manage transportation escort and related duties if requested; coordinate and manage a roster of approved staff that supports the area of responsibility to ensure that the position is never left unfilled; review site specific operating procedures and make recommendations to the Co-Chairman; supervise external service providers and ensure that sensitive areas are not breached; support security operations worldwide; support Management and the Operations Centre by undertaking research, and compile trends in crime to assist in the interpretation of results which reflects accurate assessment of specific risk; and support the Office with any management and statutory compliance.

Position requires international travel up to 15% of the time.

Education and Experience Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Security Administration, Security Management or a related field, and three (3) years of experience in the position offered or security management/defense related occupation.

Alternatively, the employer will accept five (5) years of experience in the position offered or security management/defense related occupation.

Special Requirements:

Managing at risk personnel by virtue of pro-active control and response mechanisms such as: surveillance, verification, supervision, control and containment of incidents including medical emergencies; liaising with International securities forces and Intelligence Agencies; and undertaking research, and compiling trends in crime to assist in the interpretation of results which reflects accurate assessment of specific risk.
