Fox-13-WTVT is currently looking for an experienced Perdiem Broadcast Engineer.
This position will be responsible for proper operation and maintenance of automated newsroom, production and master control system as well as associated sub-systems. This includes but not limited to: automated audio, switcher, Sony ELC, robotic cameras, and its corresponding sub systems. Must be accomplished in IT equipment within the television station, including network systems, switches, routers, computers (Servers and PC). The desired candidate should have working experience in non-linear editing systems, news gathering systems such as TVU, LiveU, ENG, IP/SNG, and video streaming. Additional experience with Chyron graphics, station-air ASI encoding path, RF systems, transmitters, iNews, IP Prompting, and/or HD/IP video routing systems are highly desirable. The qualified candidate will be required to document daily tasks, projects, and coordinate CAD documentation. Ability to work unsupervised, as well as part of a team. A minimum of 5 years of experience working in top 25 television market with a heavy emphasis in local newscasts preferred. Ability to work nights, overtime, weekends and holidays.
