We are looking for a Director of Technology to provide overall management, direction, and engineering expertise for FOX Systems Integration Team. This position oversees FOX’s Identity & Collaboration portfolio of services which consists of Okta, Slack, Quip, Box, Lucidchart and other enterprise applications that support business operations.

You will have the opportunity to lead a team of engineers and admins at multiple locations and be responsible for project ownership, annual budgeting, policy design, governance, personnel management, and other managerial duties as assigned. You will be responsible for defining policies, guidance and operational procedures governing the consumption of those services as well as aligning the priorities of our Digital Security team and business partners to ensure FOX systems are protected and compliant with all company policies. You must be well versed in the industry leading technologies to best position FOX to leverage innovation and experienced with mergers and acquisitions with emphasis on migrations and integrations of cloud-based applications.


  • Work closely with the engineering team, operations team, vendors, and FOX Architects in designing and managing the FOX Identity & Collaboration Environment


  • Oversee daily operational support activities for the FOX Identity & Collaboration Environments
  • Log, track and prioritize issues and project work
  • Manage resolution of issues by coordinating appropriate resources to ensure timely resolution
  • Work closely with vendors to provide support for role related issues
  • Serve as escalation for technical and management issues and concerns
  • Review business unit requests for technology and work with the management teams to determine recommendations and/or alternative solutions
  • Manage staff assignments and deliverables ensuring quality, accuracy and timeliness of deliverables
  • Participate in development of operational plans
  • Execute specific components of operational plans as they pertain to the ongoing support of the Citrix environment


  • Provide design input to initiation and analysis activities including Project Charter development, Cost Benefit Analysis, Request for Information and Request for Proposals
  • Manage small projects as assigned, including timeline, scope, resources, risks, quality and customer expectations
  • Ensure all Enterprise Technology standards and best practices are followed
  • Work closely with core technology functions (i.e. architecture, applications, and security) and managers of related initiatives to ensure proper integration

Relationship Management

  • Participate in discussions regarding current and anticipated service requirements and alternative approaches
  • Work closely with Information Protection to establish and audit system and directory service security
  • Work closely with database administrators, application developers and administrators to provide a secure application environment


  • Communicate plans, status and issues to senior management on a regular basis
  • Plan and evaluate work of technical and other support staff
  • Audit and approve staff work reflected on invoices and timecards
  • Administer performance appraisals, training, vacation schedules and requests, time tracking and payroll reporting, MBOs, etc
  • Coach and mentor staff
  • Disseminate and enforce standards for information technology in business units
  • Mentor System Administrators and System Engineers in technology and professional development

Departmental Responsibilities

  • 24x7 escalation tier for on-call production support
  • Serve as a “point of contact” for role relate issues for Enterprise Media & Technology



  • A.S/B.S./B.A./M.S. degree or equivalent technical training
  • Okta Advanced Administration Certification
  • PMP Certification Desired


  • Identity & Access Management Architecture and Design
  • Experience working Security, eDiscovery and SEIM
  • Working knowledge of APIs, Certificates, Scripting, SAML, OpenID, etc.
  • Deep understanding of AuthN and AuthZ protocols
  • In-depth knowledge of networking protocols and concepts
  • Architecting and deploying infrastructure in AWS, Azure or other Cloud Providers
  • ITIL experience
  • Strong ability to build, influence, lead and motivate effective teams towards end results
  • Demonstrated ability to create plans, timelines and work breakdown structures using management tools
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with all levels of staff, clients and other IT personnel
  • Ability to write and present effective materials, including presentations and status reporting
  • Ability to lead effective meetings that are tailored to audience
  • Ability to use problem solving methodologies to resolve issues
  • Excellent communications and interpersonal skills
