FOX Television Stations owns and operates 29 full power broadcast television stations in the U.S. These include stations located in 14 of the top 15 largest designated market areas, or DMAs, and duopolies in 11 DMAs, including the three largest DMAs (New York, Los Angeles and Chicago). Of these stations, 18 are affiliated with the FOX Network. In addition to distributing sports, entertainment and syndicated content, our television stations collectively produce approximately 1,200 hours of local news every week. These stations leverage viewer, distributor and advertiser demand for the FOX Network’s national content.

JOB DESCRIPTION

JOB TITLE: Sales Manager
Exciting opportunity to be an integral part of the FOX6 Sales Team; the Sales Manager will lead a nationwide sales team as well as local Account Executives in their efforts to effectively sell our first class linear, digital and OTT properties.  You must be results driven and come with an arsenal of strategies to motivate and win every sales pitch!  As part of the FOX family, you will enjoy a generous time off package, full salary replacement for short term disability and parental leave, 401k with matching and what our employees call the best healthcare insurance in the industry.    

RESPONSIBILITIES:
You will develop and implement strategies for the sales department that will achieve budgeted goals.  You will hire, retain, develop, and mentor sales staff to sell ALL products, not just linear.  You will build relationships with clients and market leaders to keep FOX6 top of mind.  You will work closely with the sales management team and station management to grow FOX Local brand awareness.  

QUALIFICATIONS:
You must have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in media/advertising sales with Local and/or National television sales experience.  Bachelor’s degree from a four-year university or college in a related field preferred.  Full knowledge and understanding of ratings analysis, effective inventory pricing, commercial traffic scheduling and research products such as Scarborough, Kantar, Media Monitors, ComScore and Nielsen is a must.  Strong communication skills both written and spoken are required.  Ability to work under daily deadlines and strong attention to details are imperative.
