JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a Senior Financial Analyst to join our team and be responsible for reporting programming and development costs for Fox Entertainment. You will be preparing weekly programming flash reports, preparing monthly financial statements, updating inventory analysis schedules, preparing cash flow and other monthly and quarterly schedules as needed.

A SNAPSHOT OF RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Prepare monthly financial statements, update program inventory analysis schedules, book necessary journal entries, prepare cash flow and other monthly and quarterly schedules as needed.
  • Quarterly re-forecasting for programming and development; annual budgeting for programming and development.
  • Prepare weekly program and gross profit flash reports, including, but not limited to, analytical reconciliations to budget, forecast and prior year.
  • Assist in processing vendor invoices for timely payment.
  • Assist Finance Manager in coordinating with third party and internal studios as well as guilds to ensure timely processing of invoices.
  • Maintain organized record of programming payments and status of series and development audits.
  • Work with the Production Finance group to coordinate results, budgets and forecasts, and ensure proper consolidation and elimination into network financials.
  • Special projects and requests as needed, included external/internal audit interaction/coordination.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED

  • Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years accounting/financial analysis experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
  • E1 and Workday Financials knowledge a plus.
  • CPA/Big 4 experience a plus.
  • Proactive, with ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to work in high-pressure, time-sensitive environment with a willingness to work overtime as necessary.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills a must.
