We are looking for a Studio Technician to join our Chicago Bureau. As the Bureau Technician, you cover studio camera needs for correspondents and guests in our two Chicago studios and a variety of other jobs including but not limited to editing, media management, studio scheduling, and backing up our Director of Bureau Operations and our Bureau Coordinator. You are a highly proficient video editor using Adobe Premiere and have the ability to handle a wide variety of creative and journalistic editing assignments. You work with other studio technicians, field photographers, engineers, field producers and reporters. You are willing to work a flexible schedule that could include early and late shifts, weekends and holidays. As the Bureau Technician, you are comfortable in a studio and Newsroom environment covering planned events and breaking News as part of a News team (correspondent, producer, photographer, editor.)
