JOB DESCRIPTION

The Distribution team at Fox is responsible for negotiating deals with content distributors like YouTube TV, Hulu, Spectrum, Dish and DirecTV to carry our Sports, News and Entertainment programming. 

We are looking for an Analyst who is proficient at financial modeling and has an interest in contract review and deal making. As part of the Distribution team, the Analyst works closely with account leads who are negotiating distribution deals and is responsible for analyzing rates, surcharges, and preparing ad-hoc analyses to support the strategy, negotiation, implementation and administration of affiliation and retransmission consent agreements between Fox and its distributors.

A SNAPSHOT OF RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Monitor contractual compliance
  • Produce carriage, payment and MFN analyses to ensure that both Fox and its distributors are performing according to the terms stated in the affiliation agreements
  • Produce monthly executive, financial and network summaries and grids used by executives during the negotiation of affiliation agreements
  • Build and update deal models and valuations
  • Support the budget/forecast process
  • Ad-hoc analyses as needed

WHAT YOU WILL NEED

  • Bachelor’s degree, with major in Economics, Finance or Business preferred
  • At least two years’ experience in a financial or analytical role; cable industry experience preferred
  • Excellent analytical skills and proficiency with Excel, Power Point and Word
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to communicate and interact effectively with all staff levels and present data and information to different audiences
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize work in a fast-paced environment
