Job Description

20th Century Fox is searching for a bright, motivated, and collaborative leader to join our team as Executive Director, HR Operations. You're a natural born collaborator, and enjoy working with a variety of teams, remote and onsite, to gather information and work towards a common objective. Stakeholder management is your strong suit, and you're a pro at having a balanced while still pragmatic approach that will challenge the status quo.

Responsibilities:

Will be responsible for administering global shared services programs, specifically relocation and immigration processing. Additionally, this person will provide recommendations for process implementation, communicate progress to our HR leaders and teams, document workflow, and identify process improvements. This leader will take a positive, hands-on approach and be comfortable communicating with all levels of management and employees. The Executive Director will have three direct reports including 2 HR Managers and 1 HR Coordinator.

Immigration and Work Authorization       
  • Set strategy, select and manage vendor relationship.
  • Oversee worldwide Shared Services to Fox Film, TCF Television Group, Fox Entertainment Group and Fox Networks Group, including:
    • Consultation to HR Business Partners and recruiters regarding work authorization matters.
    • Engage and coordinate with outside counsel to secure work visas for eligible employees worldwide.
    • Track and alert visa expirations and initiate renewals as approved.
    • Subject Matter Expert for US I-9 work authorization process.
Relocation
  • Set strategy, select and manage vendor relationship.
  • Oversee worldwide Shared Services to Fox Film, TCF Television Group, Fox Entertainment and Fox Networks Group, including:
    • Consultation to HR Business Partners and recruiters regarding relocation matters.
    • Initiate all relocations with outside vendors. 
    • Point of escalation in relocation exceptions.
    • Monthly file reconciliation and process to vendor.
    • Point of escalation in relocation exceptions.
Employee Service Awards
  • Oversee worldwide Shared Services to Fox Film, TCF Television Group, Fox Entertainment Group and Fox Networks Group, including:
    • Monthly file reconciliation and process to vendor.          
    • Coordinate with Fox Studios for service plaques in common areas.
    • Produce Service Letters and coordinate with Chairman's office for signature.
    • Facilitate Retiree plaques and gifts upon request.   
Employee Program Administration    
  • Manage Coordinator providing shared services to Fox Film, TCF Television Group, Fox Entertainment and Fox Networks Group.  Facilitates employee payments for:           
    • Hybrid Vehicle Incentives.           
    • Education Reimbursements.       
Compliance
  • Manage 21CF and Fox corporate policy acknowledgements and trainings. 
  • Manage development and maintenance of Taleo E-Learning sites for compliance.  
  • Oversee monthly and ad-hoc reporting of compliance statistics.       
  • Manage all Affirmative Action Plans, and manage vendor.
HR Record Keeping
  • Set strategy, select and manage vendor relationship.       
  • Manage Coordinator providing shared services to Fox Film, TCF Television Group, Fox Entertainment and Fox Networks Group, including:
    • Maintain "DM" digital document management system for all employee HR files.
    • Review, categorize, and prepare all paper documents for scanning by outside vendor.
    • Upload scanned documents to "DM".
    • Maintain records according to the 21CF Records Management Policy.
    • Assist HR Business Partners and Fox Group Legal in presentation of records.
Other Duties As Assigned
  • Business Continuity HR representative.       
  • Emergency Response HR representative.
  • International HR subject matters.       
  • Special Projects.
 

Qualifications

  • Undergraduate degree in HR or Business-related field.
  • Minimum of 7 years of global experience in managing Relocation, Immigration, and/or other HR programs.
  • Leadership characteristics required.
  • Strong project management, communication, and organization skills.
  • Ability to interpret business problems, provide solutions and understand global impact.
  • Ability to work effectively in MS PowerPoint, Excel, Visio & ability to learn new software.
  • Candidate must be thorough and detail-oriented.
  • Able to work on multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Must be able to remain calm in pressure situations and adapt quickly to change.
  • Ability to balance multiple demands and work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Problem solving skills & critical thinking skills are essential.
