Home Team Sports (HTS) is currently seeking a Finance Manager who will work closely with the HTS sales offices throughout the U.S., as well as with senior management to support the sales team’s operations and provide guidance and financial analysis to the business. Responsible for overseeing everything from month end close to annual budgeting to ad hoc financial modeling and analysis with minimal supervision, the Finance Manager will report to the Finance Director of Home Team Sports & Fox Sports College Properties and will be based in Playa Vista, CA.
Review monthly and quarterly close reporting, which includes variance analysis reconciliations (and related supporting schedules), rolling forecast, and expense reporting to offices.
Forecast and budget for business on a quarterly and annual basis.
Review weekly sales pacing and monthly vertical pacing before distribution to management.
Prepare ad hoc financial analysis for management.
Review sales commissions statements.
Update sales goals and compensation plans based on input from management.
Obtain credit recommendations from Credit & Collections for new agencies/advertisers.
Approve invoices (based on LOA).
Internal and external audits.
Minimum 5 years’ experience in financial management.
Excellent verbal and written skills and business acumen.
Good technical/functional skills in Excel, Wide Orbit, E1 integrated general ledger software.
Advanced knowledge including financial statement analysis and financial modeling.
Thorough understanding of generally accepted accounting practices (GAAP).
