Job Description

The Fox Digital Account Management team is responsible for providing the best possible client service to our agency and brand partners from the moment they are introduced to Fox. Working with multiple internal groups, the Account Management discipline -- as part of the Client Services team -- is responsible for orchestrating the creation of advertising proposals and campaigns across our entire digital product suite, stewarding those campaigns once launched, and communicating results to clients with an eye towards renewal and incremental revenue growth.

Leading a team of ~4 Sr. Account Managers/Account Managers/Account Coordinators, the Associate Director of Account Management will be responsible for strategic client relations, consistent execution of responsibilities amongst their team, and active participation in the development/improvement of the broader digital organization.  


  • Oversee and mentor an account management team responsible for all digital ad campaigns across Fox, FX, and Fox Sports business units.
  • In collaboration with the Director of Account Management, own the rollout/implementation of new products, processes, and systems.
  • Provide team feedback to Director and partner in prioritizing department projects.
  • Develop total fluency with Fox’s ad products in order to articulate -- both internally and externally -- purchase rationale, features/capabilities, execution process, and results.
  • Partner with the Director of Account Management and Sales leadership to develop and present strategic growth plans and quarterly business reviews for major accounts.
  • Become an expert in Fox account management processes, working with other AM leaders to refine and improve team workflows and operational policies.
  • Collaborate with multiple departments, including Sales, Marketing, Research, Ad Ops, Creative, Product, and Tech to create and successfully implement smart and impactful media plans.
  • Assist designated team in effective client communications, both written and verbal.


  • Experience in digital advertising, including familiarity with traditional advertising.
  • 7+ years experience operating in an agency and/or publisher account management-like role with responsibility for campaigns and client relationships.
  • Working knowledge of digital production processes and technologies.
  • Experience creating proposals/sales materials as well as demonstrated success in selling those plans through both internally and externally.

  • A keen eye towards process articulation and workflow compliance.
  • Demonstrable success in managing teams and an ability to motivate others.
  • Comfortable making and communicating decisions on behalf of a designated team in conscious alignment with client needs and Fox priorities.
  • Comfortable questioning the status quo in a constructive manner.
  • A steady hand, displaying composure under pressure and the ability to work effectively amongst different personalities.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to meet client demands while maintaining accuracy and process integrity.

  • Understanding of digital advertising products, metrics, terminology and assets/specs.
  • Experience working with ad trafficking teams, optimization metrics, and reporting.
