Working independently, responsible for both short and long term booked inventory management oversight, to maximize salable assets while protecting the integrity of individual advertisers/deals.
Effective spot management by title and by week, including resolution of category conflicts and last minute preempts/pull outs of increasing frequency (due to advertiser need for close to airdate spot changes).
Plan review, as directed by the Executive Director, to ensure that the current requirements of the overall brands are respected via the proposed purchase of individual advertisers/deals to allow for remaining salable house mix at market rates to best support budget fulfillment.
Manage the positioning and input of the ratecard working with the Executive Director, ensuring that accurate and timely pace ratecards are accessible for Sales to support plan building.
Identify problems that impede goal of high(est) effective CPM possible.
Develop new reports/formats as needed.
Must have at least 3-5 years of similar experience.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, are necessary.
Strong practical mathematical / media math skills are preferred.
Must be proficient in Excel, and should have experience with Ad Sales systems, preferably with both operational and strategic component.
Strong analytical ability, capability of managing people and processes, with strong follow-through and attention to detail.
Ability to function in a fast paced, occasionally frenetic, office environment.
