Job Description

The Director of Automated and Data Sales will be responsible for supporting the growing Automated, data driven and addressable (programmatic) business across linear and nonlinear. The Director will oversee the RFP intake and response on anything including data, addressable and programmatic opportunities on all screens and devices (Digital, Linear, Connected Devices), they will assist in supporting AE’s grow advertiser and agency market share via our new sales capabilities including OpenAP, Optimized Linear, Addressable and Data Driven, Digital Programmatic. They will manage programmatic account managers tracking deal ID creation, order entry, delivery and billing. They will work to lead generate and grow existing market share of audience driven advertising marketplace. The Director of Automated and Data Sales will report to the VP of Programmatic Sales.


 

Responsibilities

  •  Be the FNG sales leader for selling our AIM suite of data driven advanced advertising products.
  • Cultivate relationships across all FNG sales teams and support sales revenue goals for data targeted sales.
  • Cultivate and grow relationships with leading agency and brand precision audience buyers/innovators.
  • Collaborate with all FNG agency lead teams and cross functional specialist teams to facilitate sale of precision audience targets across all FNG inventory.
  • Translate FNG-wide data strategy into concrete, actionable steps for advertising sales.
  • Provide guidance and expertise to coordinate between sales, strategy, and product teams.
  • Support and help educate sales team, including curriculum development around advanced data ad products.
  • Develop materials to convey client-facing story of FNG precision audiences; maintain and update library of these materials as product evolves and market conditions change with support from marketing.
  • Immerse yourself within the data activated buying goals of the agency/advertiser help support them transact across FNG.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Prior experience buying or selling optimized linear, addressable and digital programmatic advertising.
  • Prior knowledge with linear and digital television ad sales.
  • Knowledge of linear and familiarity with digital precision audience data sets/panels.
  • Knowledge of linear and familiarity with digital attribution models commonly used in market.
  • Experience bringing new product offerings into the market.
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills while interfacing externally with agency and brand clients at both executive and junior levels.
  • Experience working with/in cross functional teams and in-direct management skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written and presentation skills with comfort speaking in front of large groups.
  • Extensive experience managing multiple projects/deals at a time, motivating others, fostering a collaborative work environment and synthesizing work from multiple internal groups into presentable/actionable opportunities for clients of FNG.
  • Ability to work flexibly, comfort juggling competing priorities and willingness to adjust approach as marketplace/FNG needs evolve.
