Job Description

Fox Entertainment Group, LLC is currently conducting a search Manager, Risk Management to interface with all levels of management and others regarding production risk management issues throughout the Company as well as interact with insurance brokers and insurance companies regarding the maintenance of insurance programs. This position reports to the Executive Director, Risk Management and will be located in the Fox Plaza in Century City, California.

  • Work with television and feature productions on all insurance and risk management related needs as well as securing coverage for all artists.
  • Maintain production files, cast, watercraft and aviation logs, and run various reports using the risk management information system.
  • Review insurance provisions of contractual agreements and provide analysis and feedback to divisions and management, as necessary.
  • Prepare submission material and gather exposure data for procurement of select new and renewing production insurance programs.
  • Assist with various projects and insurance exposures for National Geographic Partners.
  • Review insurance policies for accuracy.
  • Track Canadian & UK auto usage for all productions filming in those countries.
  • Consult with and provide guidance to select company divisions regarding insurance and risk management related issues.
  • Review and submit insurance invoices for payment.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly executive reports for television and feature productions.
  • Issue certificates of insurance upon request in department computer system and collaborate with brokers on specific wording and endorsements.
  • Compile data and other information for use in reports and communications.
  • Assist V.P. and Directors with special projects and/or reports.
  • Arrange all meetings and conference calls.
  • Administrative support, telephones, filing, handling mail, UPS shipments and faxes.
  • Heavy data entry of production and policy data in new RMIS system.


  • Minimum of five 5 years risk management and/or insurance experience, feature film or television production experience is highly desired.
  • Bachelor's degree in Risk Management or Business related field, is a plus.
  • ARM or CRM designation, is a plus.
  • Must have the ability to communicate technical information to a non-technical audience.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint. 
  • Must be familiar with risk management information systems such as RiskConnect or Salesforce. 
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
  • Possess strong prioritization, time management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Must maintain the highest level of confidentiality and discretion in all communications.
  • Attention to detail with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong customer service ethics and impeccable professional demeanor required.
