Job Description

The Associate Manager provides critical financial analysis to assist in the decision making process for a variety of stakeholders, such as Home Entertainment senior management, territory Finance/Accounting teams, and 3rd party partners. Fox Home Entertainment distributes film and television products for some of the premier global entertainment companies, including MGM, DreamWorks Animation, National Geographic, Entertainment One, Lionsgate and Annapurna. As the Associate Manager, you will be an integral partner to the Fox and 3rd party partner Marketing and Sales teams to help drive profitability of the 3rd party distribution business and its major promotions/releases. The Associate Manager will oversee the worldwide digital and physical businesses.

  • Responsible for preparing annual budgets, and monthly/quarterly forecasts for worldwide physical and digital 3rd party distribution lines of business.
  • Present financial results and key insights to Marketing and the Executive Team in monthly meetings.
  • Analyze key metrics of 3rd party businesses and provide monthly variance explanations of performance against budget and forecasts.
  • Provide guidance to Accounting for monthly accruals and evaluate monthly actuals for re-forecasting.
  • Prepare title ultimates and P&Ls, review with internal senior management and publish ultimates to all stakeholders, including Studio Finance.
  • Continually enhance reporting tools, forecasting models and analysis to improve decision making for Finance and Marketing.
  • Assist with ad-hoc projects and prepare ad-hoc reports for senior management and marketing.


  • 3-5 years of relevant and progressive experience.
  • Undergraduate and/or graduate degree specializing in Finance, Accounting and/or Business Administration. 
  • Excellent finance, analytical and forecasting skills, with advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and financial modeling.
  • Well-developed communication and presentation skills.
  • Exceptional problem solving, analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Able to handle multiple projects and deliverables simultaneously.
  • Ability to work comfortably with cross-functional teams within a company.
  • Prior home video, consumer products or packaged goods experience preferred.
  • Experience with Oracle, Hyperion, and Micro Strategy systems preferred.
