Job Description

Fox Home Entertainment International is looking for a Senior Financial Analyst to work in the Finance / Accounting group to oversee the reporting and accounting of the international licensee business, perform accounting functions for home office costs, and support various marketing groups with title forecasts and costs management. This position will interface with the Fox Licensee Team that includes Legal, International Accounts Receivable, Commercial and local and International Accounting. The SFA will work directly with Fox's external auditors to ensure contract compliance and assist to resolve with various audit findings. In addition, the SFA will work directly with the Licensee to record monthly revenue and other related activity.

He or she should be able to work independently, drive various processes, and strive to resolve issues and complete tasks. This position reports to the Director of International Home Entertainment Finance/Accounting and will interface with Fox's International Licensee Office, Marketing & Finance Groups, and third party distribution partners.

  • Responsible for reporting licensee royalty revenue into our general ledger and forecasting systems.
  • Collects monthly revenue from licensees and generates royalty invoices including annual recoupments.
  • Monitor and assist in on-going territory Licensee audits ensuring contract compliance as well as clarifying various contract terms and internal promotions.
  • Acts as Fox liaison between global licensees, external auditors, and third party distributor partners.
  • Provide third party distributor partners with monthly reports and analytics.
  • Prepare various monthly journal entries related to licensee business and home office costs including adjustments and reclasses.
  • Prepare related balance sheet reconciliations. 
  • Participate in New Release meetings with Marketing and Finance to review and update various product releases and forecasts.
  • Prepare monthly cash flow for title and international related revenue and costs.
  • Participate in the quarterly forecasts and annual budget process.
  • Provide various ad-hoc accounting and finance functions related to home office cost and international accounting.
  • Work with IT Group on various Licensee set up and reporting.


  • Bachelor Degree with emphasis in Finance or Accounting.
  • 3-5 years accounting experience is required - general accounting skills and experience working with international territories a plus.
  • Strong organizational skills to drive the Licensee Business.
  • Detail oriented while maintaining efficiency and meeting deliverables.
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) is required. 
  • Demonstrate strong IT acumen to adapt to multiple finance and accounting systems with the potential of developing report writing skills and understand system interfaces for various ERP, GL, and reporting systems.
  • Must have strong verbal and written communication skills, and the aptitude to communicate with all levels of management.
  • Knowledge of JD Edwards Enterprise One, Peoplesoft Financials or other ERP general ledger system a plus.
  • The ability to work independently following proscribed schedules and be resourceful. The model candidate must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment while multitasking with attention to detail, accuracy and excellent follow up.
