Job Description

Fox Entertainment Group is conducting a search for a Senior Financial Analyst - Cash Flow, to join our Motion Picture Financial Reporting team. Seeking proactive and self-motivated individual to assist in the areas of corporate financial reporting, including cash flow and fixed asset accounts. Confidently interact with our market and divisional partners to complete monthly and quarterly financial reporting tasks and provide status report to his/her manager. 


Responsibilities:
  • Preparation of the annual cash flow budget and quarterly forecasts, as well as monthly cash flow actuals reporting.
  • Consolidation and preparation of quarterly balance sheet in accordance with US GAAP to be used for SEC reporting purposes by 21st Century Fox (parent company).
  • Analytically review of consolidated balance sheet.
  • Support the monthly and quarterly close, including preparation of supporting schedules and reconciliation of sub-ledger accounts to the General Ledger.
  • Preparation of the monthly fixed asset/capex schedules, including the maintenance of fixed asset additions and depreciation.
  • Work closely with multiple operating divisions and markets to obtain information and ensure appropriate reporting and variance explanations.
  • Development of process enhancements to improve efficiency and accuracy.
  • Perform or assist in preparation of other ad hoc projects as necessary, including government or tax requests, internal audit requests, external audit requests, and parent company requests.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance from an accredited 4 year college/university.
  • 2 to 4 years minimum GAAP accounting experience.
  • CPA or CPA candidate preferred.
  • Entertainment and/or financial reporting experience a plus.
  • Possess strong communication, analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Strong knowledge of Excel.
  • Must be a team player, detail oriented, a self-starter and able to work independently. 
  • Public accounting experience a plus.
  • PeopleSoft Financials experience helpful.
