Metadata Services provides business operations for 21st Century Fox’s enterprise title management system, Foxipedia, and manages the supporting governance program.
Manage the Los Angeles Metadata Services team responsible for Fox Studio feature film and television series
Directly manage one Sr. Manager
Oversee a team of 3 people total
Metadata Services performs title set up, metadata aggregation & maintenance within the title management system
Manage employees across the globe responsible for Fox Network Group’s television metadata
Currently manage one employee at National Geographic with projected growth of up to 15 people
Management of these people will be dotted line and the ability to guide them without a direct reporting line will be key
Oversee the on-boarding of FNG partners into the studio’s title master metadata management system
Provide business insight and governance best practices as we work to bring each entity into Foxipedia
Work with the various partners on both the IT and business side to develop work flows as they are brought under the Foxipedia umbrella
Troubleshoot and test database application to insure stability
Provide input into analysis for system enhancements and business requirements across 21st Century Fox
Provide counsel on proper use of data as well as answer any questions from partners across all of 21stCentury Fox
Provide the human link between the various divisions, businesses, and systems across the enterprise
Conduct outreach and research by email and phone
Bachelor's degree or equivalent preferred
An energetic cheerleader who has the ability to guide discussions in a diplomatic way
A detective who notices the details and has the intuition to weave those into a bigger solution
A strong manager who can support their team even if they are miles apart
Understand data flows in order to troubleshoot and problem solve
Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Detail oriented and a strong analytical thinker
Ability to manage multiple projects at different stages simultaneously while delivering error-free results
Ability to flex to different working styles and international norms.
Knowledge of Fox product and overall media industry
A solid understanding of digital, physical disc and broadcast supply chains and mastering workflows
Experience using Sales Force software
High level of computer literacy, with an aptitude for learning new technology and software
Ability to adjust to rapidly shifting deadlines and priorities
Thrives on a dynamic and changing work environment
